Visual Studio 2005 Bugs
Even though I downloaded the latest version of Visual Studio 2005 a few weeks ago, I did not install it until this past weekend. Oh was that a mistake. I should have stuck with the Beta.
Usually when moving between betas of Visual Studio, you have to do a whole bunch of manual steps to remove all the remains of the beta version. With this release came a nifty uninstall tool. First you manually remove SQL Server 2005 components. After that the uninstaller does the rest.
After installing the final version, everything was ok for a few hours. Until…

After that is was all down hill… Eventually I reformatted and reinstalled Windows to see if left overs from the beta was causing the problems. Nope, everything was just as bad as before. Finally I have found that the majority of the crashing was caused by editing a file while debugging. The great new feature doesn’t work. I am going to stick with it for now, but I hope an update is released soon.
