RSS Next Big Worm Threat
“Trend Micro has gone on record saying that RSS feeds will be the “next big thing” in worm attacks, especially after Internet Explorer 7 is released with its embedded RSS capabilities.”
I can see it now. You can already download audio files automatically for podcasting. TV Series shows can automatically be downloaded via torrent files linked in RSS feeds. Knowing how MS likes to have lots of security problems with IE, I bet IE7 will be downloading everything under the sun for us and our virus writing friends. I can’t wait…
